Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any questions about our dance competitions, or competitive freestyle (disco) or Street dancing in general, email them to info@justdancepromotions.co.uk, and we'll do our best!

Q: How can I get tickets to a JustDance
Promotions event? A: For our Freestyle events we can only accept orders for tickets from ADFP approved dance schools, so if you do want to go to one of our events, ask your dance teacher to get in touch. We do send programmes to registered dance schools in the area of our events. Our Street events are run under the United Dance Organisation rules, and although you do need to be a member, it is free and can be done online. See our Street Dance page for further details. |

Q: Why do you use wristbands rather than
tickets for entry?
A: Although quite common at weekend festivals, we have pioneered the use
of wristbands at Day Competitions, despite them costing us more to
produce, for two reasons.
- Firstly, they significantly speed entry at the start of the day, minimising the time you have to stand around.
- Secondly, and more importantly, they improve the security at our events, as we can instantly see who should be in the event and who shouldn't. Our door staff do regular spot checks.
Q: How come your comps have bigger trophies
than many I go to?
A: Well, the short answer is in our motto "Striving to produce the best
Freestyle Dance Competition days in the country". The slightly longer
answer is that while we are aiming to make a modest profit (and we are not
embarrassed about this), we do want to make sure all our competitors
have a fantastic time and want to come back! So that includes great
trophies, 5 independent adjudicators, sashes, great prizes from our
sponsors, giveaways, and continually looking at every aspect of what we
do to see if we can make it better. We are always looking for new
ideas, so if you can think of any way that our dance competitions can improve, drop
us an email at
info@justdancepromotions.co.uk
Q: Do you run Street (Hip-Hop) Dance
competitions?
A: Most of our ADFP events include a Street Dance section as a
supporting event (See the programmes for details). We are however
looking at providing a larger Street content in some of our Freestyle
Dance competitions, and running Street only competition days. These will
be run under United Dance Organisation rules. If you are interested in
attending a Street competition see our
Street Dance page
Q: There isn't an event in my area, are you
going to hold one?
A: Most of our events are currently in the south of England, but we are starting
to organise them further afield and we will hopefully be holding an event
in the Midlands in the near future. If there aren't any competitions in your
area, and you would like us to organise one, then get in touch!
